Nearly two centuries
of craft.
1882 Brew began as a family kitchen in the Copper River Valley — a place where the river runs wide and the days are long enough for dough to rise properly.
What started as weekend baking for neighbors soon became a daily practice, then a storefront, then a tradition. Today we continue the same methods: slow fermentation, wood-fired ovens, and a stubborn refusal to cut corners.
We source our flour from Alaskan mills wherever possible, our dairy from local homesteads, and our fruit from the gardens that line Kasilof Beach Road. Everything else we simply can't find here — we don't stock it.

Flaky, buttery, and made from scratch each morning. Croissants, fruit danishes, and seasonal specialties you won't find anywhere else on the coast.
Cakes & Celebrations
Birthday, wedding, or just-because — we bake custom cakes for Kasilof's milestones. Order two weeks ahead for the best selection.
Curated Groceries
Local honey, Alaskan salmon, small-batch preserves, and pantry staples we'd actually use in our own kitchen. If we don't love it, it doesn't make the shelf.
Coffee & Brews
Single-origin Alaskan-roasted coffee, house-made cold brew, and seasonal lattes. The perfect companion to any pastry from our display case.
Seasonal Specials
Cranberry-orange bread in December. Rhubarb galette in May. Our menu shifts with the seasons and the local harvest — check with us for what's baking this week.
